Intrepid Tee - Seafoam Blue

Two years ago I lost my dearest friend, Karen Dunaitis, to a virulent, hereditary form of breast cancer.

We often talked about doing a shirt for breast cancer awareness, using the word "intrepid" and its definition, "characterized by resolute fearlessness, fortitude and endurance". That's how she viewed herself: as an intrepid warrior against breast cancer. And she was. I never thought cancer could beat someone like her.

But it did. And now, at last, to honor her, I've done her shirts. 10% of all proceeds from the sale of Karen's Intrepid shirts go to Komen for the Cure.

The shirt comes in pink, of course; but I know that the disease affects men, too: husbands, sons, fathers, brothers, friends. With that in mind, the shirt also comes in a peaceful seafoam-blue.

The pink ribbon motif is printed on the left sleeve, along with a dragonfly, the totem she loved. Like a dragonfly, she loved to be near the water. Dragonflies carry dreams, she used to say.

My dream is to find a cure.

Small: chest 34"-36". Medium: chest 38"-40". Large: chest 42"-44". XL: chest 46"-48".
